Yes, I took that at dawn, July 5 '03. I was anchored behind Bird Island, Little River Inlet at the border of SC and NC. The boat was someone else who happened to be anchored there. We'd gotten out on the 4th and sailed a bit, then anchored up and grilled for sunset. Later we watched the fireworks down in Cherry Grove, SC. That was one of the very few trips my ex-girlfriend actually went out with me on the boat, my old Com-Pac 23D "
Epiphany".
Interestingly, on the internet I ran across a dawn picture taken that same day, but out in California. It was neat to see the same dawn from two different places.
