an idea about the SCOOT.. logging the start times

 I remember awhile back there was some discussion about logging your start time by text message on your cell phone, vhf call to a marina if we could get one to help out. I just remembered a group of sailors here called NCSAIL ... www.ncsail.org ... where we should be able to get someone to help with the start and get the time we each start and maybe post them here at SAIL FAR.  these guys go sailing on a regular basis, and they love to get involved in sailing related activities.
