1977 seafarer 26..any thoughts on it?

 just wondering about a boat that I saw for sale, and I was thinking it is a great deal. it was demasted in a storm, but it comes with a good mast, but needs shrouds and a few..2-3..stentions. the deck was repaired. it dose not include the out board but the price is below $900, and it' is floating. the innerds are spotless,lots of teak, it's missing 1 seat cushion, comes with vhf, am/fm radio, little alchole stove,opening ports, wheel steering with compass, not sure of depth finder, but I have one just incase.
 I heard that the seafarer was designed as a cruise boat, but not sure. any advice on it? is it roomy enough to move around in?  compaired to my 1973 coronado c-27, the floor plan looks fairly close, but the layout of the table seems to give it more room the the coronado.
 any thoughts on this as a cruiseing boat for single handed traveling?

Take a look at my gallery. Tehani is a Seafarer 25 built 1961.

The 26 as I understand was built after they brought the molds over from Holland to build the boats here. They stretched the 25 to get the 26.

thanks, I was concerned that it was going to be very cramped.  I like the 2 hatches in stead of 1, on the cabin top, the opening ports.  that was what turned me on to it.  I've always been a tiller jocky, and this boat has a wheel...not sure how long it will take me to get used to that, lol. I take it this boat is better to own then the bayliner bucc?

Well, I don't feel qualified to offer an opinion on that, but I know that CJ's Seafarer is a fine looking vessel, and if he says she's a good boat, I'd believe him.

I really like the looks of it myself, but I never seen one up close.  I sure hope it has enough room to move around in and keep about 6 months worth of can food and lots of water storage.  did I tell you it has a preasurized water system on it? no pumping by hand, lol. I talked with the owner tonight and everything he told me that it needed  was very easy to fix.       I'm trying to figure up the cost involved and the time window I would have to get it home and all.   
 somebody needs to get it before I go and clean out my bank account.. lol

 hay Charles, the 25'er of yours looks fantastic!  the before and after shots makes a guy wonder...how did you talk the wife into letting you buy the Seafarer in the first place? lol.

  the one in the pictures albums was a 1973 coronado c-27, that I bought 3 years ago and started getting it in shape, and it sunk during a storm, we refloated it...the through hull failed..got it fixed when I got paralizied in my left, from a nerve intrapment, and my little brother got drunk and took it out and wrecked it, then gave it away.  so now I'm broke, boatless (I have a sure thing lined up for the end of Feb. but still considering something with a better rep.), and just now starting to get back on my feet.
 I'm going to the bahamas, even if I have to take a hobie cat. the only thing I see wrong with the seafarer, is that I will not have the time to go there and fix it then bring it back, atleast not this month. ofcourse I was told it it prob. be there awhile yet as there are alot of boats thats turn key, all around there. if I can work out something the boatyard over there I could rearrange some of my appointments, and make it happen.
