Happy New Year! Grin
Wish I was much farther south than Tampa Bay right now.
But, I don't know what my status will be on the Scoot. I have been doing: rest, PT, and injections
since I tore 2 ligament's and my rotator cuff sailing on the 4th of July. Now, surgery on the 18th. A real problem, because I live on board and will not be able to get on/off the boat for 6-8 weeks, and they are telling me, "No sailing for at least 6 months." This is not the way to start the year (staying for 2 months on the hard, in a motel).  Cry

We're in Punta Gorda, and THAT ain't far enough, for sure. Was 31 here this morning and they are talking high 20's for Sunday night Undecided

Laura is NOT happy about traveling many hundred miles and STILL being cold. Fortunately a friend here loaned us an electric heater and we are holed up in the city marina til it gets warm again. Looking like Tuesday.

I bought a little heater on Thursday. With is going, the temp in the boat at 12:30 AM is 51 degrees.
They are expecting the Palm trees in the gardens to be killed tonight.
My cat is even mad it me! Cold boat.
They had sleet and snow flurries in Tampa last night.
Duhhhh? Think it might slow down the tourist trade?
