I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this YouTube thread (lifted from the Cape Dory board), but it's pretty amazing.

I would suggest ignoring the obnoxious, condescending commentary.

After you've viewed it, perhaps you can answer one question: Why didn't they move the boom-and-gaff to the other side to counterbalance the weight of their load?

No idea why placement of boom but was cool to see.  Love the boat and can do attitude.

Neat to see. I've seen still pics of similar things done to the smaller islands off the West Coast of Scotland, where cars and small trucks were driven onto much smaller boats than that to ferry them out. But I don't think it's done that way there currently.
You do have to admire the 'can do' attitude!
