They're called "Avatars", and this is how to post one:

Go to "Profile" up at the top of the page.

When that page is open, look at the menu on the left, and select "Forum Profile Information".

Now you'll have a page that allows you to choose or upload an Avatar.

Avatars can be up to 100 by 100 pixels in dimension.

Supposedly, if you tell the software a picture to use via URL (like one from your Gallery Album), it will create an Avatar from that picture.

Try it and lets see how it works. Smiley

PS - You did a fine job with your pics in the Gallery, Ice. Grin

wot??? That avatar is a picture of Elizabeth wet sanding the bottom of the 45 ft racing sloop, Three Harkoms, I skippered last year in the Caribbean.  Yes, she can bake a cherry pie, rewire the main panel, crawl back into the lazarette and assemble the shifter with one hand, and dress up "real purty" for the awards dance in Antigua.

Who's the guy who said no more singlehanding and referenced Laura.  I'm with ya mate.  Why singlehand with the likes of Elizabeth and laura around???

But that's another topic.

That was probably me. And you're correct- I have absolutely NO desire to single hand ( unless it's in our Dolphins) Except when one of us is asleep Wink

Besides, I'd really be in DEEP doodoo if I even tried to take Tehani out without Laura aboard. I don't even know If I would remember how frankly. She'd be more apt to take her out alone than I would anyway Grin
