Please move if this is the wrong forum! (also, this is a cross post from another board)

Taken today... "Local's Day" at Lazy Dog Outfitters... FREE kayaks!!! Smiley

If you can identify what's in the last picture, I'd appreciate it, I'm curious!

Oh, this was the day that Chris was supposed to hit us, Fort Jefferson was closed for the whole weekend, and thousands of tourists stayed away...

Beautiful Day!!!

Our trusty steed!

Just mangrove roots...

Me with a sunburn (too much work, not enough play!)

An osprey.

And the same osprey in flight.

Either it was an incredible accident, or someone dumped a stolen scooter..
This was the only "litter" we saw!

Brave little guy.

A starfish... duh. Smiley

Pretty nice to have a draft of 3"

The skinny dipping hole...

I don't know what this is, can you identify it???

Cool pics, Adam.  I don't know what that is in the last shot, but I really like the two of the osprey.

My current dig. camera is a piece of garbage for any 'serious' photography.  I'm now drooling over the Nikon D50 and some decent lenses.  I could never get a shot like that osprey with my current camera.

The one I used today is just a little Nikon Coolpix 3 megapixel thing... I broke my decent Canon... so I'm going to get a GOOD camera after I get Journey home Smiley

Thanks for the comments!

I go up Sept 1st to get Journey Smiley

It'll be a 2 week trip back, as I'm stopping on the west coast of FL to take some friends sailing.

There'll be a LOT of pictures when I get home Smiley
