While this isn't specifically about sailing, the Galapagos is a wonderful destination, and things there are in constant flux, so current information is important. He flew in, but his experience in the Galapagos is likely much the same as one would have sailing there, as you are not allowed to just roam the islands on your own boat without hiring a certified guide.
