Hello and welcome to our new member Destiny Marina.

I am making this post here, since while we welcome commercial posters we also want to make a distinction between 'helpful marketing' and 'spam'.

I suspect that they found us from the link on the Sailing Pensacola page, and when I saw their application I immediately approved it... and I am glad they are here.

Pensacola (Milton is right across the Escambia bay) is a great place to sail, and keep a boat.

The problem is that somehow the dockage rates in the area are insanely high... $10 a foot a month is a bargain in this market. :o

I am paying about half that, but on a 'special deal' that is not publicly available. I read a post made by Destiny Marina on the sailingpensacola.com site where they were offering $150 a month slips.
I am really glad to hear this, and hope they do well.

I want to go see the facility, and hope to find one of those 'round tuits' soon.

If I were going to make a marina.

Where would I make It?

What would I do?

How would I make it 'better'?

..... Well, Rhonda (spelled right?) told me on the phone that they have some cool plans.

They are installing cameras on each of the slips so you can log in and check your lines. ":)

Rhonda, thanks for reaching out to sailors, relatively few marinas do so. I think that is because our boats don't use as many (profit-making) consumables as those which propel themselves on 'dinosaur juice'... ;D

You can leave your mast up on your Sailboat in our dry trailer storage and lauch 24/7!! :o Only $40 a month! Wet slips only $150 a month! Gated and Private!!
