This has nothing to do with sailing but about the first bombing raid of the Falklands war and a stunning solution to a navigation problem.
A British Vulcan bomber is sent via the Island of Ascention to bomb the runway of Port Stanley.
"Meant for the cold war in Europe, the RAF had no maps of the southern hemisphere, so in the end the navigator turned a map of the northern hemisphere upside down and marked the Azores as the Falklands"...
