I'll be installing some photo gallery software where you can feature your own images of boats, projects, sunsets, people, or whatever is related to your SB/LD interests.

The gallery software will serve as a repository that you can use to link to your images, whether on this site and another.

Think of it as free photo hosting. :D

EDIT, summer 2010:

The Gallery is a separate piece of software, and due to a large number of bogus registrations, has been configured so that accounts need to be manually created there. (James & Maikel, I have done this for you, check your PM's).

So - Anyone wanting/needing a sailFar Gallery album of their own, send me a private message, and I will create one for you, then send you login info.

You can send me a PM by clicking on the little icon that looks like this: ...over on the left hand side of this post under my username.

Also - I have now edited the main Gallery thread to reflect the above, putting notification of this policy at the very beginning of the thread instead of at the end, where I had written it before. :)

Update: I've installed the software for this, and will integrate it into the overall site soon.

For those who do not follow my blog. I have been offered a instructor position at OCSC (http://www.ocscsailing.com/). One of the largest sailing schools here in the Bay area.
For those of you from the Bay Area or have visited the Bay area here are are some memories:

I shot this video whilst I was out auditing a class this past Sunday. Standing in the back of a J24, when I was not hanging on for life  :-[
But that is another story.  ;D

Well, I think I did it.  I found a way to get pictures to people on this site.  Try this:
www.flicr.com/photos/tequilajim ....Will be heading out for a week or so  this morning. Flying down to Puerto Vallarta to get some dental work done (and save about $4000) and do some dock walking in
the area.  Have a promise of a sail from a fellow Triton owner that used to have his Triton in Berkeley.
See you guys later.  If that link don't work, I'll try to figure it out when I get back. TJim

I have been trying to get to the gallery lately, all I get is that it is offline. Is that what everyone else is getting too? (Or is the software at work blocking it???)

It's been taken offline for maintenance (some spammers got to it, and KR had to do some upgrades and the like).  It should be back, erm, soon.   ;D

Took a look at your photos.  Looks like you guys have had some fun times, especially on the little boat.  I know you are looking forward to making more memories on the new boat.

I'm having the same problem. I can log onto forums, but the photo site won't recognize my login. Any idea what's going on?
