Title: Steering, post-rudder loss

Neat video showing tips and techniques for using a drogue to steer:

I know there have been several rescues I've seen where one of the reasons for the USCG getting called out was due to a loss of steering.

Would be interesting to try this with a cat and figure out how to make it work...

VERY interesting. I've read of boats steering after a rudder failure by dragging something- that looks like a good deal, and not a lot of room given up for it
