Leave a copy of all docs - digital photo of all docs
Make multiple xerox copies of these docs / take digital pictures and store them on your
         computer/thumb drive
Boat documentation papers
Sign up for skype
Also carry copies of your Passport/drivers license/credit card ? front and back
International vaccination certificate
State registration of Boat/motor
copies of medical perscriptions
legal zoom living will
evacuation insurance
Health care power of attorney
Leave copy of itenerary
Radio operators license
MMSI letter
Towing insurance
List of supplys onboard Ships stores and boat parts -flare gun
Boat components make model serial number ? motor,plotter vhf,computer dinghy
ownership papers of any guns onboard
State carry permits

One thing for sure- if Mexico is in your plans, lose those last two lines. AND the firearms.

Not a problem in the Bahamas though
