Title: Liveaboard ComPac 27ft sailors
Post by: Easy Living on May 17, 2019, 10:45:03 AM
I am interested in all the experiences of the adventurous people living on their 27 ft Com Pac's.  The good, bad and the ugly!

Use the Search to look for posts by Connie, a CP27 owner - her board name (and boat name) was "Pixie Dust". Among others, I helped her get the boat outfitted and she took off to the Bahamas to 'check out the cruising life'. Over the next few years her "one year" trip eventually led to a job then a marriage and now she lives down in the Exhuma's full-time. :)

Hi there and welcome aboard.
I'm not a live aboard but have 4 winter seasons cruising a CP 27 throughout the Abaco's. Bottom line is they are a roomy, extremely well ventilated, shallow draft boat with a large water tank,
well suited to Florida Keys or Bahamas.
Outfitting will depend on your intended use. Mine was not a dock queen and was never plugged in... ever.
I had solar running the Engel fridge.
How will you use it?
Where are you headed?
Future plans?
Style of cruising?
Great boat for intended use!
