Me off of Cape Hatteras (about 15 miles)... warm day, over 35 degrees!


Silver Lake, Ocracoke Island, had to run in here from the outside to avoid a gale:


Imagine getting into here (shifting shoals are uncharted) at dusk with a storm chasing you in... yes, we bumped a few times :)

Winner of the TransPac in Charleston... We made as far south as due east (80 something miles) from Savannah, but the stream, wind, and failed fuel pump made us turn back to Savannah for safety.

It's my friend's boat, I helped him do a freebie "bring home" on it... 35' Morgan, $10,000 on eBay.

Nice boat, but a weird layout. Not a good use of space. Big open salon. It was identical to my 28' Morgan, just scaled way up. The huge salon wasted a lot of space, in my opinion.
