Awesome pictures Frank, thanks for sharing them with us.  Where did you take the pictures from?  Whale watching boat?  Suncat?...hey, why not?

It has been a slow week on the forum, glad to see some activity...especially such striking pics.

They were taken off a fishing boat (40ft)...locals ride for free if they're not sold out. Many fishermen supplement $$ this way in the off season.Feels vulnerable out there with 2 or more whales swimming close and they are 10ft longer than the boat you're on and weigh 25ton more....each.The suncat would be fun BUT you would have to mind the tides.Worlds largest in Bay of Fundy !! Can approach 40ft around full moons. The current is SO fast as the tide rises or receeds that the lil 4hp could'nt keep up......almost forgot the FOG..come's in quick and thick at times.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.  -Mark Twain
