Title: Com-pac Cutlass Bearing
Post by: boblamb on February 02, 2009, 10:00:04 AM
Does anyone here have any experience or info on replacing the cutlass bearing on a Com-pac 23 D?  I've got a lot of "play" in mine and have never done it.  I'm wondering if the shaft is difficult to remove, and if the bearing has set screws in it???

Thanks for any info

Give Com-Pac a call.  They have a reputation for being very owner-friendly.  I'm sure they can tell you exactly what you need to do and the best way to go about it.

Hi Bob, did you ever get your cutlass bearing replaced?  I have a CP 23D and probably should replace mine soon.

Thanks,
Nick
