Title: DQOTD... Hull liners
Post by: Leroy - Gulf 29 on January 05, 2012, 11:48:35 AM
The Gulf has a hull liner in it.  How much hull strength is dependant on a liner?  I'd like to cut some cubby holes for storage between the liner and the hull, and some other misc openings like relocating the batteries to the sole in front of the engine.  I don't want to chance affecting the integrity of the structure, and not planning on going ape $#!t crazy with the cutting.  Just kicking ideas around.

Shouldn't be any problem Leroy. The bulk of hull liners I've seen were pretty much cosmetic. As long as you don't go nuts should be fine.
