Title: Engine control location
Post by: fossil2010 on May 04, 2016, 09:32:14 AM
I have a Cal 29 with a tiller. I would like to relocate the controls for my engine as they are to close to my exhaust. I am wondering if there is a prefered location that will not interfere sailing the boat. At present they are located low in the cockpit on the port side. any thoughts would be appreciated.

Do you mean the panel with the key/start button/stop?  Or the throttle and shifter levers?
