Title: 31 Bombay Clipper
Post by: Wade on July 31, 2012, 08:55:22 PM
Hi all,
I am feeling the need to brag on my boat. I cant imagine a more comfortable coastal cruiser. At 31 ft and 10,000lbs you might not pop her on a trailer but she isn't so big that its not conceivable. I have the shoal draft 3.5 ft and 42ft above waterline. Built like a tank, sails great in heavy air but will move in light. If you haven't been spoiled by J boats you will not mind.  She fits almost anywhere, heard it called the poor mans island packet, I was on a newer Catalina 36 the other day. My girl seemed roomier and more comfortable. If you come across one give her more than one look. If you have one I'd love to talk with you.
