Title: Danica 16
Post by: truewind on July 03, 2013, 12:18:49 AM
Does anyone know if a Danica 16 is self-bailing?  Nordica 16s aren't, but the Danicas were modified and I don't know if self-bailing was one of the modifications.

Also, does anyone know anyone who owns a Danica 16 who I can contact?  Does anyone know of one for sale, preferably one with four round ports?  There is one on ebay now in Canada, but the price is silly.  I already have twice the boat, motor, and sails he or she has and I probably couldn't get half the price s/he's asking, and my boat is in better condition too.

I want to move down in size, but not up in price.

Some info here http://www.shortypen.com/sailboats/danica-16-cute-as-bugs-ear/

I was also looking for one and could only find the one near Winnipeg Alberta... I guess the price reflects rarity.

Still looking for a Danica with four round ports, but I'll take two.
