Title: Fisher 25 motorsailor
Post by: Frank on September 11, 2018, 03:43:53 PM
2 lads pulled into the marina late last night. It was blowing hard for 3 days and rain. I grinned as they were aboard a boat I've long admired but never seen in real life. Once they were tied up and settled, I wondered over to have a peek and was given a tour. What a little tank!! Seriously! I'm 220lbs and it barely registered my weight boarding. The cockpit was larger than expected, the pilot house was best described as workable, if a bit tight. Below was a decent galley, nice L shaped settee, another quarter berth settee, head with tip down sink, hanging locker across and a large, if very high up, V berth. You got the feeling you were on a little ship! These are extremely heavy 25s and I was totally impressed! There are more 30s and up out there but the 25s are rare boats here! Too cool! (Can you still say cool?)

That looks like an ideal PNW boat - drive from inside where its warm and dry. :)
