Title: Sandblast / Sodablast the interior?
Post by: Seafarer on August 23, 2014, 09:51:48 PM
Much of the over-head on my Cal 29 is raw fiberglass with peeling paint. I'd like to take it back down to raw fiberglass and was wondering if anyone had tried sand or soda blasting interior surfaces of their boat before?

Not I. I sanded. I'd think that blasting would create a whole LOT of mess. Whatever you used would wind up in the bilges too. It was a dirty, nasty job, but the sanding did it.
