Post by: SeaHusky on September 19, 2017, 06:40:47 AM
One of Sweden's most experienced small boat - long distance sailors, Magnus Reslow, is entering the 50 year anniversary race of the first solo round the world race http://www.longueroute2018.com/ (http://www.longueroute2018.com/)  with his Albin Vega.

"Rad" or "sick"...?
I believe there are 5 or 6 "Joshua"s in production, all ordered for this race.
Magnus, on the other hand, is the kind of guy that may come in 6 months after the second last boat but will still finish if the boat is still afloat. The race rules limit sailors to the technology that was available during the first race. No gps, no grib-files, no music CD's. Only Sextant and radio. For Magnus, this is the only way he knows. He bought his first ever gps last year...
