Ordered these for a client from Rigging Only. Some of the fittings offer significant savings over comparable products from Sta-Lok and/or Norseman; nearly all of them are cheaper by at least a few pennies.
The terminals came in today, and I was finally able to give them a good looking-over in person. They appear to be just as worthy of consideration for use on your vessel as their pricier counterparts. I'll use them on mine.
The experience with Rigging Only was as usual - courteous, helpful, and quick to ship. Two thumbs up. :)

Just got some of these for use on my boat..... very nice and a lot less money than the StaLoks... btw, I got mine from Rigging Only, as they're about 10 minutes from my marina. ;)
A couple of years ago I took a class with Brion Toss, and he seemed very favourable toward mechanical fittings. After a 'lively' discussion about different manufacturers, it turns out he does not use hi-mod fittings although he praised the product's design and usability (I believe his shop has had client service issue with the mfg, not a rigging issue with the fittings.) I really like them in design and concept, but I've never actually set one up.
I think I'll be going with these when I re-rig, but what's your experiences?
The crown ring makes setting them up really simple compared to the StaLoks... The problem I've had with the StaLoks are mainly due to the wire slipping into the cut in the cone. Also, I'd point out that the HiMods don't require replacing parts when disassembled before reassembly—the cones used in the StaLoks are not reusable and need to be replaced—each time the fitting is disassembled.
My boat is getting these as we speak, the shop (Northwest Rigging) said they were better than Stay-Loc, I will report back on how they work.
so what is the consensus on the Hi Mod fittings ?
