Post by: jotruk on May 18, 2011, 08:22:14 AM
Has anyone had any dealings with Kerr Sails of Tulsa Ok. ? I am thinking about having them make me a new head sail.

I'll have to see what sizes I got. I have one on my boat that is too big for me to handle alone, so I was thinking about getting it converted to a main sail...someone said I could get it cut down and converted by a sailmaker..
I'll check it out as soon as I can get it out and unfolded.

Here's a second-hand recommendation for Kerr.  A friend of mine in Monterey, California has a Westsail 32 and gets his sails from Kerr.  I just told him yesterday about Sailfar.  I'll see if he wants to contribute to the forum.  We compare notes because my boat is a "concrete Westsail 32", i.e. Samson Seamist 32.
