I have some Moeller fuel tanks on the boat which are probably 12 or 13 yrs old, and the gasket inside the fill cap was shot on one of them. Rest of tank is in excellent condition, but you can't pick it up by the handle and carry it-so it must be carried flat, using two hands, which is a PITA.
I've been searching for a gasket or and O-ring that would fit with no real luck.
So I searched for and found Moeller online. Gave them a call on Wednesday and was connected with a very pleasant lady in Eastern Tennessee, explained that I had a pair of tanks, one was leaking. She got my name and address, and today I found TWO entire new fill caps in a package in the mail- no charge.
I think the company deserves some good publicity for that.
