Title: new found metals portlights installed
Post by: Wade on January 24, 2013, 08:33:23 PM
Well I went with the Trimatrix portlights from New Found Metals. I have done three now and down to about 2 hrs for the install. Fortunately there is not much caulk or whatever they used 35 years ago left to clean up on my old boat. The company is easy to deal with and will rent you a template for drilling the holes. It would be difficult to do this without it. Even with it the holes can be a little off and that can be a little frustrating. They have a thick gasket built in the outside flange and the company says no bedding material is needed. I have had some good rains and no leaks yet,  Very pleased overall with this product.    Wade
