Title: Nozzle for fuel transfer thingy!
Post by: David_Old_Jersey on December 26, 2008, 03:01:45 PM
Never used it, but was doing some "traditional" Xmas online shopping  ;D and came accross it.

Seems like a good idea for transfering spare fuel to main tank when at sea on a longer than usual passage that requires a prudent extra fuel capacity onboard - haven't ordered one as not sure that the hose is a universal thread, plus I have 52 gallons onboard  :P

So after you pump it a few times, siphon pressure takes over? That's what the page seems to say...

errrr.......yeah  ;D

Looking at it again, it is a bit over egged with that nozzle.

But I like the fixed end to the fuel can. Probably be better without the nozzle and simply a decent hose length (that can be stuffed a long way into the main fuel tank and with an inline siphon pump (thingy  :P)........was thinking on a smaller boat transfering fuel is a PITA from less elbow room and increased bounciness  ;D
