Does anyone have experience with the sureseal shaft seal? Suppost to be 100% leak proof, 100% sounds like a big number to me.

I don't know, maybe the newer products have overcome this issue, but his remarks make sense to me.
Disclaimer: no experience with the product.
There are two differant types of these supposedly dripless box's. One has a seal that looks like any wheel seal and is water cooled, the other has a composit flange that seals against a stainless plate that is also water cooled. I have the old type that is well proven. But I am building a new boat and can't decide which to use. If the new ones really are dripless it sure would be nice to have a completely dry bilge.
