Title: Wanted: civil engineer or soil scientist regarding anchors
Post by: Auspicious on July 20, 2008, 09:59:57 AM
I have begun working on a test protocol for anchor testing. The idea is to publish in professional journals (probably a SNAME refereed journal, and possibly present at the Small Ships Symposium). I hope to develop a protocol that is repeatable and extensible, so results can be validated by repetition and that new or different anchors can be tested for apples and apples comparisons.

I need some help in exchange for co-author credit from a civil engineer or soil scientist with professional experience with saturated soils. I want to at least characterize bottom types as part of the protocol and perhaps provide some normalization for comparative analysis.

I'm posting here first.
