I've found this piece of gear to be very useful.

I've used it both in the oven and on the cooktop to "grill" meat and vegetables when I can't use my outside grill (raining hard or in my home marina where grilling isn't allowed in slips). It's become one of my most used bits of cooking kit.

i have something like that and its extremely useful. i love it actually. use it mainly for chicken breasts and hamburgers.
