Not really a sailing story, but we found ourselves at Goodale State Park, complete with cypress swamp, today.  We happened to have the dink in the truck, so pumped it up and went for out for a little while.  We were not out long, but it sure was nice to be on the water.

By the way, water depths were only a foot or two at best, with weeds growing all the way to the surface.  Saw lots of wood ducks and one egret.

There is a 3 mile water trail there we are going to go back to explore.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.  -Mark Twain
