G'day everyone I just saw this at a caravan show today.

The sales guy said they are installing them in boats. Very low power draw and the storage tank can be stored up to 8 meters away from the pedestal. I was very impressed with the system although it is a little expensive @ $1500 Australian. check it out and let us know your thoughts.

Basically a power version of a Lavac by the looks of it.

Very much in use in the new boats here in the USA. However, if you put in one of the prota-potie types with an MSR discharg, you can hook it up to the macerator and pump into a holding tank. Not much water used resulting in a smaller waste per flush in tank. You can get by for less than $ 500 USD.

I had a VacuFlush on my power boat. It was very reliable and didn't use much water at all. On small boats the space requirement may be a bit high - in addition to the toilet and holding tank there is a vacuum tank that is pretty big.
