The last few weeks on her days off, Laura has been really hitting the sewing machine hot and heavy. Tehani has gotten a new cover for the bimini to replace the one with holes in it. A brand new mainsail cover which we've never had before, a jib bag so the jib can live on the foredeck and two awnings- one over the foredeck and one over the main cabin.

The awnings are gonna be so nice anchored in hot sunny weather OR when it's raining. We figure the fore hatch can now be left open for ventilation since the fore awning covers the whole deck, mast to bow.

A few pics-

Beautiful work.  That's almost worth having a first mate aboard.  ;D

Gee Charlie - I'd wish for someone like Laura (envy, envy); but having been married almost 35 years before I lost my wife, I have to protect the status of my Curmudgeonliness.  ::)  :D ;)
