Wow, that boat is only ~50 miles from here. Would be neat to see her before she gets sold, I never saw her when I was berthed in Little River.

Very interesting design, and Lechter, well, he obviously had experience, so you would think the vessel capable...

The original boat was a 26. John and his wife cruised it extensively on the west coast, making trips to Alaska and across the Pacific in her.

I have an acquaintance on the lower Texas coast who owns a replica.

The boat has bare seated head room and being a double ender, would be pretty small inside, by todays standards..  But she's be a heckuva sea boat for surea
