I left Berkerely last Monday...Went out from the gate, turned south into a 180 wind....No progress....busted My butt for 9 hours into 35/40 knot winds and 12-15 ft swells....No progress,,,,didn't go no where... Finally sed p;areog32768549opmnscxhjk
're90tvgouneqi ao0943trjndolvmn and went back into berkeley until we got a little better
wind conditions and sailed down to Half Moon Bay.  I picked up crew there and immediately got under way.  Weather wasn't bad but not really good..about 6' swells and 25 knot winds....crew got sick and spend the next 24 hours puke'n
...you know ... head in the head ...sailing into 180 scattered winds with the wind vane going nuttts...... and the crew horizontal.......me  on the tiller.,..pulled into Santa cruz and rested up a bit before the run to Monterey ... Parked in Monterey for last 3 days...waiting out gale winds south of us.....
getting underway 0400 in the morning heading for Morro Bay ....Rest  up  and then around  conception  and into Santa Barbara for a couple days and on to SDiego where I'll rest up and spend some time with friends....You guys know I love this poop......rite on baby,,, when its too rough for the old man its just rite for me....wait a minute...I am the old man.....life is gud...then it gets better...TJim

LOL jim!! Sounds like the kinda sailing  I like. You get the ocean to yourself! I plan on following you in a couple of years. Keep up the good work. :D
When I'm sailing I'm free and the earth does not bind me...

Hey Jim,

Here is a quote for you. "Between the sky and the water I am not alone, because I live with the sea and the gale." by Jean Gau

I Wish I was with you. I bet I can puke just as long as your friend can ;D :o ::).

Fair winds and full sails.
