Sailing clubs near Largo Florida?

A friend just moved to the Largo erea and is having trouble finding a club. The "Sarasota sailing club" was perfect. It had dry storage, a nice club house and a ton of small boats with that small craft mentality. He hopes to find something closer to Largo that is similar. Any ideas??

Nope...Largo is beside Clearwater. He hopes to duplicate the Sarasota type club but within a 20 minute drive. I've got a warm spot for him as he taught me to sail back in the 70's

Try Dunedin City Marina, there is a sailing club out on the breakwater, tell him to walk out around the southern end, there is a building out on the point that is the sailing club and there is a posting board on the wall with information.
I was a member about 30 years ago, but I visited the marina about a year ago and everything seamed to be the same, about 80% sailboats ;D.
Dunedin is about 10 miles north of Largo, hope this helps.
