I've been doing the woodwork and completing a few simple mods getting things ready for the season. As I was sitting below it came to me how many facet's of boating there are. Buying, outfitting, maintaining and oh ya...sailing. If you're not in a hurry even brightwork is enjoyable as you watch dull wood come to life.I think my favorite is just sitting onboard daydreaming. My mind goes from places I hope to sail, to needed gear, to modification ideas. I think those 'daydream times' are one of the most enjoyable parts of owning a boat.

I agree Frank.  The least costly, throughly enjoyable, consistantly relaxing... don't get itchy fiberglass, or even sunburn.

The trips past, and trips to come are great fodder for these daydream times.  I especially sitting aboard the boat.   :)

While I'm waiting for a place to splash my 1975 Chrysler C-22 I have been making some nice modifications to the cabin

I'm looking for an old looking nautical map of the   east coast that would look good as a table top, I think getting the trailer ready to move it is the only thing left to do.

Yes I've sat in it while working on it and have sailed around the world( I spend some time on it every day) in thought  its getting time to make dreams true.
