Where does everyone get their regular forecasts, and how much faith do you put in them? I am asking because we hear a lot of bad mouthing of weather weasels, but as sailors we have to use forecasts regularly.
I typically use http://www.weather.gov/ usually find them fairly accurate.

Tim,

When we are in the Sea of Cortez, or off the coast of Calif. down the Baja coast we listen to 2 guys on the SSB/HAM nets. Don Anderson, who is a sailor and does the weather 2 times a day 6 days a week and lives in Oxnard California. And Gary for in the Sea weather as he lives in El Burro cove in the Bay of Conception. He LIVES the weather and we normally always get very accurate weather.

We also use the Winlink downloads. Also a good source is http://www.buoyweather.com/index2.jsp . We watch this a LOT.
