Howdy folks. Didn't make it to very far :D

Sitting in Marina El CID, Puerto Moreles, Quintana Roo, Mexico waiting for the forecast nasty front to come through. Nice placement quite reasonable- slips are $1.00 foot US. Find THAT in the states!

Yesterday Laura and I rented a car and drove south about 80 mm to visit the Mayan ruins at Tulum. Neat place. I'll post some pics later from the laptop. The outer areas are all tourist traps and restaurants but they have carefully preserved the ruins. Nothing done to change anything. Tons of tourists but still very interesting.

More later. Time for a hot shower ;D

Good to read that the cruise is going well. Enjoying the interesting photos and updates. Look forward to those of the Mayan sites.

Back home again. Flew in from Cancun yesterday. Had to get up at 0200 to make the 0615 plane :P :P :P

Cancun to Dallas, Dallas to Corpus Christi, then driven home (80 miles) by David (grime) and his wife. Long day.

Now gotta crank up on repairing a broken boat for a neighbor so we can go back to Tehani asap :D

Now we're home with reliable internet, I'll post some pics,, probably this evening.

Been kinda busy, BUT-

We are scheduled to leave here for North Carolina on May 1. Plan is to haul out in New Bern, do a bottom job, then head on up to the Chesapeake Bay for the summer.

Sold one vehicle today-no need for two when cruising, and getting stuff stacked up to load for when we leave

After that? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

We have no schedule. ;D

David, Thanks for the earlier post of the link to the photos.

Charlie, Those are more great photos. The water water color is brighter (more like the photos from the Bahamas) than I expected.

I'm also looking forward to following the next phase of your cruise.

Thanks. We thought the Bahamas water was better, but then we didn't get as far

down as Belize

The dude that used to own her now sails a Pearson Vanguard. A-30, Pearson Vanguard ... good taste in boats, and he seems like sailfar kind of guy.

Yep- and that Vanguard was a Rhodes design, for Pearson. Big sister to Tehani- looks like she's a Tehani on steroids.
