I started work on this wooden kayak back in the winter of 2006 and have been working on it off and on ever since then. I recently spent a week pushing to get as close to finishing it as I could. It's not ready to go touring on, but I imagine I could still use it to paddle back and forth to shore.

Beautiful work, James.  Thanks for posting the pictures.  Hope you get to enjoy her on the water soon.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.  -Mark Twain
