Well, the delivery fell through.  :-[

The news prompted me to go spend two weeks hiking the Shenandoah National Park section of the Appalachian Trail.   ;D

Had a GREAT hike, even if I did get caught in the freak October snow (8" on top of Hightop Mt.)....

More later, but what a GREAT complement to Sailing Small!

Pictures would be nice  ;D

Regarding delivery, Mary thought it was a great idea and almost pushed me out the door when I said I might help out on that delivery  ;D  Hmmmmmm! ??? Is that a good or bad sign?

I've always felt that backpacking and 'sailing small' are pretty much the same thing, 'cept we don't have to pitch a tent every night (or break it down & pack it up the next AM). Shenandoah is purty... Oh, OK, so is most all of the AT. :) Sis and BiL now have a 185 acre farm about 1 mile from Peter Mt, so I will be doing that section sometime before to long - good Lord willing and the creek don't rise. ;D

PS - Mary is smart.

Either way...   :o ;D
