Blended, not stirred

When the day is done and its Miller time I take it up a step or two. My daughter bought me a great little blender. When stowed the base can be put inside the blender container. When its all assembled it can be C clamped to just about anything. It has a two speed function with a crank handle. Yes it will chop ice. It is also addaptable to a cordless drill. Man oh Man when the day is over a cold Margaritta beats a beer anytime.

I have one on "zen" that is like those magic bullet ones on TV, only better. Yours is nice! where can we find one???

Ofcourse not a lot of ice out in the middle of the Pacific on the KISS principal... ;)

This was another casualty of Katrina and one of the more painful losses. While completely impractical aboard, this was the coolest blender we've had.

Hey Jack Tar,

When I first saw this blender - about a year ago - you were extoling its virtues on the Lats and Atts site. Being Captain Gadget, I promptly dusted off my VISA and ordered one.

I practically drooled dreaming of the drinks I'd be making while on the hook.

When I got it. I unwrapped the packaging, assembled it as instructed, rinsed it out and proceeded to mix up a creamy drink. Two cranks with the handle and it got really hard to turn - figuring it was the mechanical gearing advantage I proceeded to put some of my considerable weight into it.

The plastic mounting for the gear train broke and its been sitting in pieces ever since.

Just a warning - if you get one - don't put too much force into it - either that or just don't let me mix the drinks :)

So why haven you sent it back for a warranty claim ? Havent had any trouble with mine. It did a great job again this year at the Lats and Atts Poulsbo party.

After Christmas, I found one of the Magic Bullet Blenders for $10.00 - regularly 2 for $99.00 PLUS about $50.00 for S&H!! I have one for home that I got at a discount store for $58.00 (no S&H) and now I have one for Milenka. Yes, it runs of regular power, but for 30 seconds, I don't think that it will be that much of a drain on the battery.

The neat thing is that you can make drinks in the handled mug (comes with 4) and then just use the mug to drink out of.

I was going to get one, but did nto like the reviews people on Amazon gave them. I got one like it, but with a stronger motor will chop ice!
"Tirbest" cheaper than a new retail Bullet, works better, for us anyway

 ;D If you intend to cruise for any distance, particularly on a small boat, you best get used to no ice.

It isn't easy to find in all places, sometimes isn't real clean when it IS found and can really be a pain to keep.

Best plan on using the ice box when ice is readily available and learn to do without it other wise. You'll have a lot easier time going cruising that way.
