how much is a nonworking 2gm15 yanmar worth

I just pulled this engine. It needs a full overhaul. It has not worked for at least 3 yrs. It was replaced by a PO. I was told he put an outboard on because it was the cheapest option. I may sell the engine but have no idea of it's value. Any body have a clue?    wade
