I am in the process of getting some quotes on sails. Fully battened main, 8oz 100%, 6oz 130 and a 1.5oz full radial asymetrical spinnaker with a launching sock. After some to'ing and froe'ing we have gone from $9600 to $7250 and I will try to squeeze them a little bit more and I sure cant wait to see how SV Blue Print goes under fresh sails :)

On the subject of battens, YMMV, but you could certainly save some $ by getting rid of full battens.  I'm not a fan, but it does depend on the boat, etc.  Having recently purchased a new main, if you have the time it might be worth getting one sail made at a time to see how it effects balance, etc.  I thought our new main with partial battens would be similar to our old main, but the new sailmaker managed to increase its area with longer battens despite getting rid of the headboard.  Our weather helm increased slightly as a result, and while within acceptable limits, I'm glad to know about that as I think about headsail replacement....

On the other hand I really like full battens. With the tension set correctly (I like the mechanical adjusters on the luff rather than elastics) you can substantially improve light air performance.

HR 40 - a little big for SailFar but my heart is on small boats
