I drove across the country, and am here in the Bay Area watching the America's cup.

Like many Sailors, I had thought the "super boats" had little relation to sailing I can relate to.

Wow, I was wrong.  This is an amazing show!  I shouted myself horse today, and was very glad to watch Team Oracle pull it off in race 3.

Really an amazing show!  Any other Sailfar Sailors watching?

Yes,the tv coverage has really added a lot.

Funny thing is that even sitting in the America's cup village, the images of the race on the big screens set up all over are what you watch most of the time.

Was right at the finish line yesterday, hard to appreciate just how fast these boats are until they whiz by you at 40+ knots!

Very very cool....

Ya know, I was feeling a little bit silly a couple days ago..

...I mean, it was 8 to 1 and was not looking too good for us.

I drove my van over 4000 miles to watch this.....

I have been to the races every single day since I arrived, and it was tough watching the standings, even when I started this thread.  I said then, and say now.... What an incredible show!

This has got to be one of the greatest rallies in sailing history.  I am glad NBC has finally started to show some coverage of the race...

Tomorrow is not to be missed!

Go Oracle!

I had dreams of sailing all night...  I am no a fan of sport, I don't care for football or baseball...  Nothing like that.  This is very different.
