I just purchased a small underwater camera and was wondering had anyone else used one? I plan on going out and trying it out today on my boat, I want to see if I can see how much growth is on the bottom and see if it needs to be pulled.

Any sail boat regardless of size is a potential world cruiser, but a power boat is nothing more than a big expense at the next fuel dock

I have a Pentax Optio W 90.  I bought it for use in the dinghy, kayak and aboard, just in case it gets splashed. Supposed to be a dive camera good to 6 meters, but I've never taken it underwater ;)

well I bought a gopro sport that is good to about 4 meters. I went today to the boat and mounted the camera on a pole and took videos of the bottom of my hunter. I was expecting to find a lot more growth on the bottom than I had so was very happy with the way it looked. I used a water based bottom paint on it and it looks like it worked good. so will probably put another coat of that paint on the bottom.
