Almost everyone with a small boat has a need to get it off the trailer from time to time. I have had good luck hanging mine from sections of pallet racking. You can find it used on C/L and it is inexpensive because when people have it for sale, usually they are moving out of a building and need it gone. I feel that hanging the boat is safer than blocking it up. Also after pulling out the trailer, you can put additional cross beams in for extra safety.
When using six trucker ratchet straps, and working back and forth between them, only very light pressure is needed to lift the boat.

This is interesting how about posting a few more pictures, eg. from the side and attachment points for the straps etc.

I am sorry, that is the only picture I have. The straps are just hooked in the adjustment slots that run up and down the leg of each upright. I used many straps when less would do, so that some could be slacked and moved around when I was bottom painting.
