Icebox insulation addition (engel)

I've got an Engel compressor unit to convert the ice box to refridgeration.
They are super low draw....but not good for too many cubic feet.
So...in the interests of both reducing the size (volume) of the icebox and adding insulation...I cut closed cell 1-1/2 inch foam for the walls and doubled up on the floor. It should keep things cooler, easier , with way less draw.
I caulked the foam together but not the "foam to fiberglass" seams .....figuring it would be easy to remove and replace later.  Will paint it white once the caulking is cured to make it easier to wipe clean.  Will let ya know how it turns out after a month or so....

how about a hard inner surface to prolong the life of your insulation and make it a bit more waterproof? some sort of fiberglass paneling maybe?

That could work...
I even thought of a layer of cloth glassed on...

As-is.....easy to remove and clean under if mold builds up between the foam and original glass of cooler.

It will be a "work in progress.....

I used formica  on the bottom of one. Foam on the bottom is too soft if things get dropped in,, like cans of drinks.
